Amanda, the proud owner of Tropical Beauty, is a certified aesthetician with over a decade of experience. After graduating from St. Clair College in 2012, she earned certifications in laser hair removal, IPL, lash extensions, lash lift and tint, microblading, and permanent makeup (PMU).

Her favorite services include nails, lashes, and brow treatments, where her creativity and attention to detail shine. Passionate about aesthetics and continuous learning, Amanda is also dedicated to mentoring other service providers and fostering a supportive, healthy workplace environment. At Tropical Beauty, she strives to inspire confidence and deliver exceptional results for every client.

With 20 years of hairstyling expertise and 18 years doing nails, April excels at creating personalized styles and offering multi-service appointments for her clients. She blends modern techniques like highlights, balayage, and baby lights to achieve natural, soft grow-outs, and pairs them with stunning nail designs tailored to her clients’ goals.

A lifelong learner, April has trained at BTC University and attended the Moroccanoil Academy in NYC for an intensive 2-day immersion in May 2024. Known for her creativity and easy-going nature, she values the long-term relationships she’s built with clients, ensuring every visit is both personal and enjoyable.

With 43 years of experience, Terry-Ann is a passionate hairstylist who values creating genuine connections with her clients. She began her journey in cosmetology school at 18, later opening her own salon and even working on a cruise ship. Her dedication to the craft led her to teach at both Bluewater School of Hair Design and Marvel.

Terry-Ann takes pride in understanding her clients' lifestyles, preferences, and needs to ensure they leave her chair feeling confident and looking their best. She specializes in highlights, colours, short razor cuts, long styles, and men’s hair, offering a versatile skill set honed over decades. With a warm and personable approach, Terry-Ann is committed to making every appointment a personalized experience.

Kortny Snow is a certified hairstylist with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. Specializing in balayage, dimensional color, and low-maintenance styles, she takes pride in creating effortless, customized looks tailored to each individual. With expertise in precision cutting, blonding, and rich copper tones, Kortny blends creativity and technical skill to deliver seamless results.

Dedicated to maintaining hair health, Kortny uses techniques and products that nourish and protect your locks. She loves building strong connections with her clients and works closely with them to achieve their hair goals. Jess is a licensed medical aesthetician with a passion for advanced skin care and client-centered treatments. After completing the Aesthetician Program in 2023, she graduated from the Advanced Medical Esthetic Practitioner Program in 2024, gaining over 200 hours of hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.

Certified in dermaplaning, microneedling, teeth whitening, and oncology aesthetics, Jess specializes in delivering advanced skincare treatments tailored to each client’s needs. She is well-versed in top-tier skincare lines, including ZO, Vivier, Comfort Zone, Alumier, and more. With a focus on precision and care, Jess combines technical expertise with a natural and holistic approach to help clients achieve healthy, radiant skin.

Sarah is a skilled hairstylist, lash technician, and nail artist who brings creativity and passion to everything she does. After earning her diploma from St. Clair College in 2017, she began her career as a hairstylist.

Since joining the Tropical Beauty team, Sarah has become certified in nail artistry and lash extensions through Windsor Beauty, with over three years of experience in both. She’s also certified with Olaplex, ensuring the health and vibrancy of her clients' hair.​

Known for her artistic touch, Sarah specializes in creative nail art and red and copper hair coloring. Outside the salon, her love for arts and crafts fuels her inspiration, making her a go-to for clients seeking unique and personalized styles.

Sydney is a talented hairstylist apprentice who graduated with honors from St. Clair College's Hairstyling Program in 2024, earning an Excellence Award. Passionate about her craft, Sydney is excited to continue growing her skills and is working toward becoming a licensed stylist by February next year.

Specializing in lived-in colors, Sydney loves creating natural, effortless looks like lived-in blondes, brunettes, and blonding services. Her dedication to achieving beautiful, customized results ensures her clients leave feeling confident and refreshed.

Montana is a medical aesthetician dedicated to helping clients feel confident in their natural beauty. She earned her Medical Aesthetics Diploma from Looks Aesthetic Academy in 2024.

Specializing in laser treatments, Montana provides precise therapies to address various skin concerns and enhance overall appearance. She is certified in dermaplaning, lash lifts and tints, and permanent makeup. In addition to her medical aesthetic services, Montana offers expert manicure and pedicure treatments.

Allison is an essential member of our reception team, known for her determination and dedication to providing an exceptional client experience. She goes the extra mile to ensure every client feels valued and well-cared for, always prioritizing their needs with a helpful and kind-hearted nature.

Allison stays busy managing appointments, assisting the rest of the team, and keeping everything organized. Whether it’s greeting clients with a warm welcome, helping with cleaning, or supporting the team, she always brings a positive attitude and a willingness to help in any way she can. Nancy plays an essential role in keeping Tropical Beauty running smoothly as part of our reception team. She’s the friendly face greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting the rest of the team in any way needed.
